Thornia Smith

Thornia Smith is a Senior Administrative Assistant with a Masters degree in Health Psychology and a pending Ph.D., where her research focuses on the area of Diabetes. Her love for Diabetes research stems from working closely with the Diabetes Association of Jamaica (DAJ) and the University Diabetes Outreach Program (UDOP).

Thornia is a Jamaican-born who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and never loses an opportunity to give back. She is also a Director of Future Leaders of Jamaica (FLJ), focusing on building the dreams of young children with academic potential but lacking financial support.
She joined the TagHeart Foundation because it fosters a passion for caring for others, where caring and giving back are their primary role.
